Hi, Frédéric,
I like the distinctive (unique?) point of view. The photo effectively captures the dichotomy of ice fishing, maybe as a metaphor for our human lives: we gather in community, but we all fish through our own individual holes.
The footprint pattern adds a lot to the visual appeal of the image. This led me to wonder what the photo would look like with greater contrast, to emphasize this aspect. I've tried my hand at editing in a workshop post. See what you think.

Extraordinary! You don't get to see these kinds of photos everywhere! Thank you so much for this one! I think, the distance is very nicely chosen, the scene itself is also very alive.

Hi Frederic
I find it hard to believe this photo has only 3 positive critiques.
this is one of the more humurous, interesting phot's iv'e seen in a long time.
The foot trail patterns in the snow are remarkable, something i'm sure the people down below have no idea about.
great creative shot!
Thanks
Craig

Hello Frederic,
I like your original POV, the people add nice little coloured spots to the monotonous white of the snow,
very well seen,
Katrin.
