Photographer's Note
That 's a part of one iceberg among very numerous other ones, that we can observ at the embouchure of Ilulissat fjord. Sun light and ice can fit together very well !
Icebergs may have very different aspects all along their "life", when just calving and when floating and drifting the rest of the time. Their destiny is determined by sea currents and wind.
But, inexorably, icebergs lose weight , they may become unstable - and they die in a smooth way or not !

Salut JR,
Impressionnant mur de glace avec une lumière qui accentue le relief de cette paroi et donne de belles teintes bleutée ... ce lieu est vraiment fascinant !

Bonjour Jean!
Nice picture. I guess the iceberg was really high. You showed it in a great way with a simple composition. I took a look in your gallery and found some nice pictures from my town among these!
Regards from rainy Bergen!

Bonjour Jean-Renaud,
Enfin de la glace bleue de prêt!
Bravo, cela rend bien l'approche des glaciers.
C'est toujours impressionant.
Bien vu et bien capturé.
Bien amicalement.

Bonjour Jean Renaud,
une contrée trop eu montrée et pourtant elle ne manque pas de charme sauvage et impressionnant. Je l'avais au programme de vacances qui incluaient aussi l'Islande, mais que j'ai reportées.
J'adore.
Amicalement.
Daniel.
