This picture has been taken over the East Coast of Greenland, from a MD-11 from KLM flying from Amsterdam to Vancouver.
We were very lucky that day : almost no clouds from Iceland (unfortunately we were too far in the north to see this island) to the limit of British Columbia.
he view on the icefields of Greenland, the vast icy desertic Canada is amazing.

Wow, fascinating subject. These areas of the world are rarely seen. Not a great photo aestheticaly, but good clarity and interesting to geography geeks like me.

It's not easy to get such detail from an airplane window. I wasn't that lucky over Greenland. And over Canada I saw just ice and snow.
