Photographer’s Note
Here's a pretty clear view of the island Nolsoy, facing the capital Tórshavn. The picture was taken during a walk around Tórshavn. The island is reachable from Tórshavn harbour, the boat ride taking roughly 20 minutes.
The lowest section of the island, the thinnest point on the picture, is actually an isthmus and the village of Nolsoy is built right there. The isthmus is so narrow that during really bad storms, waves that come crashing on the shore can splash their way clear across the village to the other side of the isthmus.

Hallo Hugo!
This is one of the most impressive landscape photos I've seen so far. In the large version one can detect many interesting details. Knowing the situation of these islands in the ocean makes your picture even more impressive. Living there - I think - must be a challenge, but for these people it's home.
Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from Germany (Central Europe ;-)!

Hello Hugo,
I like your shot, beautiful green and blue tones, well composed, good sharpness, I like the panoramic crop too, maybe sky is a bit noisy but apart from that it's perfect,
TFS & regards,
Tomasz

Bonjour Hugo,
