Photographer’s Note
Eidiskollur; Eysturoy Island; Faroe Islands
Eidi is located on the North-west tip of Eysturoy.
In the center of the village there is a large stonechurch from 1881. It was built in connection with the villages 100 year anniversary.
In walking-distance from Eidi is the 343 meter high promontory 'Eidiskollur'. From the top there is a beautiful view over the sea and the islands. From here it is possible to look down on 'Risin og Kellingin' that are two legendary rocks that rise 75 meter up from the sea.
A couple of kilometers south-east of Eidi is a dammed lake kalled 'Eidisvatn'. The water from the dam is supplying a hydroelectric powerstation

Hello Grzegorz
Superbe photo avec cette falaise qui s'ouvre pour nous faire découvrir un paysage qui s'enfonce dans le brouillard. Le choix du sépia donn un plus dramatique
Bravo!
Amicalement

Jello Grzegorz,
This photo works very well in B&W. The scenery represents a magical fjord, like those in another Viking land, Norway. Excellent shot, Bulent
