There are two myths about the Faroe Islands that are just not true; there ARE trees (Torshavn's a very leafy town) and it doesn't rain all the time (this was the only rainy day I had in a week's stay).

Hi Dave,
I commented the other pictures first, therefore this rainy city almost became a surprise! :-)
The myths sometimes are funny. I was (only once) a few days in Ireland and I was prepared for a rainy stay, but then I've got nice sunshine. But the Irish said me it was the only weekend without rain since the beginning of the year.
And I've been some four or five times to London (including autumn and winter) always with sunshine, never rain nor fog.
