The other day I promised to post a picture of the dinner that came out of the net I had in the Baltic last summer. The eels are plentiful along the Danish east coast in the summer when the water is warm. You catch them close to shore, in shallow water where they feed in the seegrass - during the night

Yes - a real splendid meal you got there and the eels seams to have a perfect size - to bad its so long since tasted this disc last time.
I think the colours of the fish and the barbeque mix is good,
and the reflections in the staniol pefect (even on a grey day)
Your camera must be ok after all.

Der kommer forresten en ny model af mit (meget lille) Sony kamera efter nytår, som er endnu tyndere.

Nu er jeg ikke den helt store ålespiser men jeg kunne nok overtales til at prøve i dette tilfælde ;-)
Alufolien står fint, men selve ålen synes jeg er en kende for mørk til rigtigt at sælge varen, så jeg har prøvet at lege lidt med billedet, håber det er spiseligt.

Hi Per, this makes me hungry. Nice picture, a bit more contrast and cropping up top and it is perfect. I'll have a thought for you when I eat my portion of eel next week in Kortgene.

I didn't know they eat eels in Europe. I've only had them in Japan. Although just a snapshot, this is a good shot for TE as it tells us something about this place.
