Photographer’s Note

I meant to take a picture of a big crow in a tree and instead he flew away after another crow. Luckily, the picture turned out anyway, I think.

Hi Kate!
This is a nice shot of the lone tree on the hill. The birds add more interest flying through the blank space of the sky. Black and white works great for this.

Hello Kate,

I was attracted by this photo in your gallery. I like a lot the silhouette effect induced by the white sky and the use of B&W for this photo.
However, I think a panoramic frame could fit better for the composition. I put a proposal in WS going in this way.

This photo attracted me from the thumb, I like its simplicity and its poetry, I admire the framing and it teaches me something because I would never have thought to take such a photo, but it works !

Of course this picture is anyway a good one. B&W is a perfect choice. Again: purity is all in this picture. It show us winter and its atmosphere perfectly. Good POV.

This nice composition shows that there's still a cold/winterly atmosphere in april; the b&w increases this feeling. Good pov, sharpness and idea.
Yves' ws even improves your photo.
