Nekseloe and Havnsoe dock Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here is one of our rare days of sun from this winter. Luckily I was in the beautiful little village of Havnsø. Here one can take a ferry to either Sejrø or Nekselø. While Sejrø is home to three villages, Nekselø has only a few homes and one church. Ferry service is intermittent. I have yet to get out to this tiny island, but exploring small islands is a highlight to living in Denmark, so I hope to make it there one day.

Here is another picture I took of the dock house from a different position. This was when the weather wasn't nearly as pleasant.

Great contrast with yellow hut and blue sea while your model is adding life to your well taken photo. Excellent addition also for next shore with easily recognizable red roofs. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Kate.
Great shot and fine composition. I love the light in this picture and the pale yellow color of the shed.
I believe you have got some dust spots on your sensor in the upper right and middle left place in the picture - this is always a problem to us as DSLR users! Hopefully they will solve this out in the future :)

Your photos, this caught my attention. Perhaps because this kind of coastal landscapes, I always have liked. There is balance in the composition, with good depth of field and a warm and wonderful hues.
