Photographer’s Note

I took a lot of pictures of this place and this was the best I could get. I'm posting it with my Femø travelogue because the "kro" or tavern is just as important to every Danish village as the church (ok, there are definitely those who would strenuously argue with this, but that is another story). The typical Danish kro usually offers a restaurant, place to sleep and a bar. On Femø, we camped at a place near the kro and the kro seemed to be one of the only truly active places on the whole island. There were cars outside at all hours, and skydivers landing on the airstrip next to the kro all day long. So if you make it to Femø, here is another place to visit on the island.
