– I spotted these young mallards in a little pond on my holiday trip to Lolland. The foam was nature’s own product and doesn’t seem to harm the birds – perhaps could it even be the long lost fountain of youth???? – Well try to take a look at this photo – taken the day before ;-))
The pond can be seen here.

Hi Jeppe, again one, splendid to see you here, and certainly with a beautiful photograph of those ducks in their bath. Enjoy by watching your great shots. Well seen!

Haha, good title for a good picture. Looks gross though, I wouldn't dive in there... Unless proven to work, of course. The image is not very sharp, could it be that the ducklings are slightly out of focus?

Well, Jeppe - I've never seen anything like this before. Usually it's up to pollution, whereas in this case... can someone explain?
And by the face expression of these mallards - they really seem to be enjoying their bath!
The funny side of MY viewing this pic is that I instantly thought of a yellow duck-toy that kids love to have a bath with.
Well seen & and properly composed! Thanks for sharing.

A cute snapshot, Jeppe. Funny how their beaks are covered in foam, and their plumage is still dry enough to render all this "hairy" detail of the feathers. Good catch.

Very good serie of photos, Jeppe, my choice of the best one is on TN. They are all three a joy for the eye.

It seems like someone through a planty of bath foam into these water :-)
They seem to be very relaxed and having good time in this foam, great picture, first I didn't understand how these ducks were srucked in this icy water until I read your note.

When I saw the tumbnail, I thought you made them swim in milk ;-)).
Strange foam, it looks like bath foam (but I'm happy to read it isn't). Your other picture on treklens is, to my opinion, better in quality but this one is cuter with the young ducks. You have a strange but very good picture here.

quite amuzing, those two young lads seem to be enjoying their bath. If it is the fountain, let me know h"ll come.

THis foam looks too strang to be natural, Jeppe. Anyway it's a fantastic shot, I thought that it is a frozen lake. Good shot.

Jeppe.. i think the foam is soap these duckies use for their bath... :) or then again, it could be the fountain of youth like you say.. a cheerful picture.. well seen

Les joies des canards dans un bain moussant, c'est très original ! On dirait de la neige également.
