This picture makes envious but the "date taken" reconciles a bit ... ;-)
I like the sharply silhouetted tree in the foreground in front of the bit foggy rest of the scenery. One can feel cold here. Winter seems to be abolished ...

I really started to wonder.. then I see this was last year!

Hi Dorte. Nice to see you are back. Macondo and I were wondering what had happened. It is interesting from my vantage point here (Summer time) to see the reaction from my Northern friends to the absence of snow, a reaction bordering on chagrin . Wonderful winterimage with these frozen trees.The black trunk and the big branches contrast very well with the nice blue/white colors behind.
I wish you snow very soon,to manage more good shots like this.

Hello again, Dorte. I wondered where you had been; Klaudio and I even discussed it. Happy New Year to you. This is a lovely follow up to the previous shot, although a year old. I follow the weather in Europe and it seems not worse than one of ours in most parts! Anyway, this is a lovely image of snowy stillness in which the foreground tree adds a touch of sharply defined starkness to the feathery scene behind. Very good indeed.
