Photographer’s Note

Here is another picture of Guldborgssund. This photo was taken around 22.00 (10PM). My husband and my Danish host father are out canoeing at sunset. This is a picture that can only be taken in a short two month window when we have sun until late in the evening. Already our long evenings are feeling quite short and I can't help but to look at this photo wistfully, and think about the beauty of summer in Denmark.

I fully agree to you, summer in Denmark is something unique, especially the white nights are amazing. Every year I am looking forward to the beginning of May.
This image is describing the atmosphere of this time of the year excellently. Outstanding management of the light and a very well working POV, especially the including of the shore. And your title is very nice. TFS!

I think that the title of the photo matches the scene and its mood very well! I like the dark silhouettes on the water... and the warmth of the orange colour gamma creates a warm feeling, too :)

I`m more used to see those sunset colors in tropical regions than in northern Europe.The pattern of the sea looks great and the golden tones are wonderful.And the composition:excellent with these two sportsmen/women meeting in the center.
