This is an old shot I have been meaning to upload for some time. There have been a lot of good photos of tractors on TE - and also some spectacular ones of tractors being followed by seagulls looking for food in the upturned soil. This is not so spectacular, but I feel it is very typically Danish in colour and the representation of the land. And it reminds me very much of the kind of traditional drawing or painting you found hanging on the wall of a lot of Danish homes twenty or thirty years ago.
As usual, cropped and resized, and then clarified, saturated and sharpened - all with moderation.

I like the composition, the lines of the field and the tractor (which is such a beautiful John Deere!) in the rightcorner.
I only would have cropped the sky (I was trying with the toolbar), but that's personal, nice pic!

He's right you know Per, you could crop out the sky whtithout damaging the photo.

A very nice scene from the fields, Per - I like a lot the crisply detailed appearance, the presentation in horizontal layers, and the tractor about to leave the frame, followed by the flock of gulls. Very natural looking colors and textures. At the danger of the critiques you are getting on this sounding like a broken record - I also think that there should either be more of the sky (not cutting the tree tops, but rather being present as a blue horizontal layer in its own right), or it could be cropped for good.

Dry the period after the harvest is here clear noticeable, also in Flanders the seagulls are always present at the farmers, the lines between the ground and the harvest give the perspective, the trees on end conclude the photograph nicely.
Very well seen Per.

Thanks Per - the lines and landscape you captured here indeed typically Danish and could be a photo by its own - the tractor adds a fine extra element to the image and makes it fine to watch.
