Photographer’s Note

..Hello again !
Today the photo is not from New Zealand but from the park of Gavnoe castle in the outskirts of Naestved .
I just have to present you with this photo, taken yesterday to share the beauty of Denmark just now .
The sun is shining, temperatures are just above 20 C , the trees have supersoft new green leaves and nature comes out in the most beautiful designs, colours and scent !
So I will dedicate this photo to all of my friends here in TE :o)
More photos in the workshop - and I will be back with more photos from N.Z.

It's really gorgeous. An orgy of colours! These curves of the tulips, the light and the shadows are truly beautiful. The whole scenery gives a somehow optimistic impression...

Hello Dorte,
A very pretty composition. I like the low point of view and the use of the curving flowers beds, which lead the viewer towards the building in the background. A beautiful light on the foreground flowers and some lovely shadow play across the grassy areas. Great colours and clarity. A very good capture of these lovely blooms.

Hi Dorte,

this really is a beautiful photo with strong colours. I especially like the three circles of tulips and the green circle of trees. Must be a wonderful place!

Hello Dorte,

I found your photos from from New Zealand very interesting, but no matter what you post, the images are good, and the notes interesting. The colors of the tulips, against the backdrop of the kelly green grass, reminds me of a good Impressionist artist's palette of paints. The choice of vantage point is especially good, because the grass is seen to curl off and converge, a very good perspective shot in my mind.

What a wonderful photo and a great impression of the Danish spring right now. I see the weather is pretty much the same in DK as in NL with loads of sunshine. :-) Great view over the colourful tulips with also the lovely fresh, young green hues of the trees. Thanks for sharing!

What a beauty!
You composed this superbly, to give a wonderful view above the sweeping curves of tulips. The colours and the sunlight are sensational, and I love the shadows of the trees on the grass. Terrific sharpness in the foreground and the background. One of your best shots, and a real delight.
