Photographer’s Note
.....I have been looking for some interesting photos to show you.....Then I thought you might like to see what I see every day.
Isn't it often so , that what lies just before our eyes is seldom recognised ?
So on Saturday morning I put on my shoes ,grabbed my camera and followed the Susaa river which flows just a few meters from my home , through the forest to the city before it takes its way to Karebaeksminde ( I showed you photos from there last April ).
This will be my last posting for about 4 weeks :o)
I am looking forward to see you all again next month !
Two more photos in the workshop .
Take care :o)
Dorte.

Hej Dorte,
A very nice photo of the little å. Yeah, it's often like you say about things in front of your eyes. Good that you took this photo near to your home. A nice view across the river to the city. Pleasant light too.

Hallo Dorte!
For me a very uncommon - but beautiful - landscape because I live in a low mountain range! I like this view through the reed and over this river. This seems to be a "cosy" place!
I wish you a good journey - and come back safe and sound! ;-)
Greetings from sunny but cold Siegen!

Belle photo de cette rivière qui attire bien l' attention et de plus ces espèces de grandes harbes a l' avant, légèrement rosâtre lui donne encore plus de charme
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté

Hej Dorte.
I did tell you once that you live in a very beautiful place, and this photo really proofs it! I like the reed that shines so silvery in the sunlight. Good composition and point of view. A little pity that the trees hides the buildings, but that's of course nothing you can do anything about. Your "winter" looks like ours, this year.
Have a pleasant trip.

Hello Dorte,
Your note reminded me of Leonardo's general sentiment, "You need only to look and ponder, that "the commonplace becomes wondrous, and the wondrous commonplace." Very lovely image. Best regards and enjoy your time away.

Hello Dorte,
A very nice composition of this pretty spot on the river. The subdued light adds to the mood of the scene. I like the point of view and the framing from the foreground vegetation. Very good clarity.

Hi Dorte.
Another wonderful scene from your neighbourhood. I've just been watching Unit One again, and it always reminds me of your photos.
I love the composition, and the way the tops of the reeds are catching the slanting sunlight. A very pleasing picture.
Hope you are doing something very pleasant during the next month.
Regards,
Andrew

I like this variation from this place where you find many motifs Dorte. The diagonal used for the river, the good inclusion of foreground details and the lead to the church in back all balance well together.

Hello Dorte,
I like the atmosphere that is captured here!
The calm waters and the peaceful mood, and the straws by the riverside catching some backlight...
A well balanced composition, where the river makes a fine lead-in!
Greetings,
Pablo -
