Photographer’s Note
I couldn't go out and check my nets that day because of the waves, so I had to contend myself with taking a photo of the catch I imagined below the surface (the red dot in the middle is the buoy marking my net). Incidentally, there were two eels down there. I will post a photo of them on the barbecue later.

Nice simple composition. The story behind the shot is interesting and points out to a semi-visible buoy which becomes a discreet point-of-interest.
Nicely done.

This picture is greyish, so it does not attract that much attention among many bright pictures here.
But it is perfectly depicting the mood of this place. And it has its Nordic beauty

Yes - even the best camera can't find colours on a grey day, nice shot anyway and good you mention the buoy – I wouldn’t have spotted it else.
I have an example myself of such a day here. Your where lucky to catch some eels, I have mostly seen crap(fish) and jellyfish in such nets.

Moi qui aime la mer j'ai l'impression de sentir le vent et le parfum des embruns. Curieuse photo en gris et vert..mais réussie.
Me which likes the sea I have the impression to feel the wind and the perfume of the spray. Curious photo in gray and green..but well done.
