Turn turn turn Photo

Photographer’s Note

Just “found” some old photo from a holiday trip last summer – better post now.
I visit the medieval centre, which can be found near Nykøbing Falster at the waters of – Guldborgsund. Please visit their informative homepage as well.
This little community “Sundkøbing” shows life the year of the lord 1394 – There’s actually people living in the houses during the summertime (and I learned in the winter as well) they bring life to the place and demonstrate old handcraft and sport games.

One the big attractions is “Fighting of the knights” even I believe the photos shows an esquire (væbner) I got him in a sharp turn – and yes – too bad about the missing hoof.

Great capture of the action. Don't worry to much about the missing hoof - you can take a picture of that another time. Very sharp picture dispite the action and the limited light. Well done!

Interesting scene from this historical festival, Jeppe. Good timing to press the shutter at this very moment, as the dynamics of the horse going around the curve is well conveyed. Beautiful colors. Thanks for another one for the theme ;-)

Perfect timing at all.:)) You should have steel like nerves. The action of the horse looks unbelievably dynamic. The colors look so natural. Good job really...

Nice picture. The top is a bit white, but the rest of the photo is very colourful. Despite the full action, it's very sharp, so that was a good job!
