In Vesterbrogade, just a few blocks from the main railway station. A typical Copenhagen street with nice 19th century buildings.
Vesterbrogade has the usual bicycle path along the pedestrian walkway and as bicycle traffic is quite dense it is so tempting to try and catch them in pictures.
This is inspired by Torben who has made casual pictures of passing bikers into a genre of its own.

Hi Ebbe - Indeed a fine "uphill" capture - and yes this must be a homage for Torben as well - I know a theme for this shot as well :-)

I, too, like to photograph bicyclists and this set of photos has made me rethink how I can do it. The tilt of the photo is very intreguing, and the pair, with and without bicyclist is and interesting match. I like this very much, you made me think!

I certainly recall some great photos from Torben in this theme. This one is, of course, in a different stile, but no less interesting. The composition of the two images, freezing two moments of the same space is very nice and an interesting idea. I think that a third image, similar to the first one would work well in artistic terms to enhance the sense of a “disrupter” brought by the biker to the place as all the rest is exactly in the same place (car, motorcycle, etc…).
Besides that, the exposure, the light, contrast, color and the use of the tilt is very well managed. A very interesting work.
