Lyngby is a quiet Copenhagen suburb and the rush hour can be quite gentle. On the other hand the architecture of the shopping malls that dominate this little town is far from gentle. If you look for the 70´s try Lyngby!
The picture is taken in the main street just before 9 am. The street was empty and I was on my way to the woods for a little walk. Along the way I stopped to get a shot of this department store wall and was lucky to catch this biker.
"Overtagelseutsalg" means a bargain sale due to change of ownership.

wow, this is nice, very aesthetic composition and two bikes - standing and blurred, really nice scene, you have a good eye for such compositions, i am a bit jealous ;)

Toujours vos merveilleuses ambiances urbaines !

Bra jobbat Ebbe!
Härligt halvstirrig övre halva och skrikgult nedtill och en cyklist som swischar förbi. Lampan ser man knappt i allt oväsen. Enda lugnet är den parkerade cykeln som man får ty sig till.

Yes, this is a very good job. The top part of your photo adds some abstract and complements the blurred bike.

Modern daily life taken in a great street shot. Graphism, quality photo, colors and so on!
Excelent also, the composition, the angle of view and the difference between static and speed.
Very well done and my sincereally congratulations :)))

Very graphic composition, i like the yellow, that's a great color for eyes. the cycle is almost a ghost. well done.

Hi Ebbe. Excellent catch you made here. The rhythmic geometry provided by the storefront and the bicycle stands would already have yielded a compelling photo, but the motion-blurred cyclist definitely makes the whole thing sing. Good stuff.

Always also made a success of your framings. a crossing horizontal structure with vertical lines, but especially a bicycle moving and another statics. It is a true success.

I like your yellow serie, Ebbe. This is a nother example of a fine yellow composition with the corredt amount of color, lines and motion. It looks like there are two different scenes in one picture. Very well done.

i love this one! it could be titled: "look ma', no wheels!" the other bike in the frame is great, and your colours, symmetry and compo; fantastic!

Good effect you have achieved, the yellow background and horizontal windows make this shot a touch more interesting to look at.

Excellent picture, Ebbe, thanks to the composition of a biker in swift motion and "parked" bike + clean and simple repetitive background in nice color. Combined with the vertical bars in the top half of the picture it creates some tension, not very pleasant, I must say, similar to my usual impression from both shopping centres and rush hours. The street lamp gently disturbing rhythm of bars is a good compositional counterpoint to the red biker, equally disturbing the static environment.
For me the excellence of this picture is made by the red biker. Without him it would be a good picture, but not excellent. So this is the case, when a good photographer gets a pleasant gift to his anyway interesting concept. Or maybe you waited for something like that biker and he became an expected part of your concept?

Yellow as the Sturup Airport, Ebbe, have you changed your color preferences? Nice motion blur and excellent composition in this shot - though I had long doubts about the lamppost. But removing it made the image bleach - I guess it becomes too symmetric, despite the fact that one bike is moving and one is not. The division of the image into two equal horizontal parts creates a great graphical impact. Very well done!

An artistic work in your style,Ebbe.
really well captured with a fine dynamism touch, also I like some elements in the great composition here, the lamp-post,two bike:one with movement and the other is parked and also vertcal lines,...very nicely composed the all,Ebbe.

I know everything has been already written about this picture. But I wanted to tell you that I also enjoy it very much.

Hi Ebbe, being a biker myself, I can't let this one go by.
I really love the motion blur on the biker, it gives a lot of speed in the picture, and ususally people going out of the frame, is a bit odd, but here it fits the speed very well.
The yellow colors, and the parked bike are very nice.
On your way to the woods? no wind? -2?
A very nice one, Ebbe.

Nice photograph Ebbe. You are really good at seeing these graphical pictures. Like very much the graphism and the colours in this shoot. And the blurred man on the bike adds a lot and works very well with the other parked bike. Good work.
