The new opera house in Copenhagen seen from a location across the harbour and close to the Royal Castle. I like the young ones enjoying the sun and the view in the foreground.
Note how the guy on the right is offering his girl a drink of water. I think he bought the cheap version of "Let´s go to the opera and have a drink". The question is - will he ever take her to the opera and buy her a drink in the lobby in the pause?
To get the seatram in the right position I used the continous mode firing a long serie of exposures. When I sorted them it turned out that the position of the Evian bottle was more important.
Picked her hair color for the frame - because she´s worth it!

La qualité est au rendez vous ici avec de trés jolis détails et une presentation verticale qui nous montre la scene vu par les personnages.
Bien vu Ebbe.

Very interesting architecture, that wide and thin roof. The perspective is interesting as well, and so is your question: listen, do young guys in Denmark ever take their girlfriends to the opera house!? Here on this continent such destination would be highly unusual for youngsters. :)

aspect tres graphique, avec un beau contraste entre la grandeur et l'immobilité du batment, et l'"humanité" des personnages en premier plan...
d'un point de vue architectural c'est egalement tres intéressant.
bien vu !

It seems like you're not the only one who was enjoying the view of the opera house - it must be a 'hip' place to visit as it's new - no?
I like your inclusion of the group in the foreground - without them the photo would be yet another postcard.
But of course - it wouldn't, as it's obvious you'd been thinking about other 'tiny' details that make a good capture.

I like the way you placed the opera house in the upper part of the frame, with the interesting roof hat almost touches the borders. An up-down view that covers so many interesting items - the sky, the opera house, the harbour, and the "audience". And iot is a good composition that starts our (and your) imagination.
Good shot, Ebbe.

Oh this is interesting. They have written so much in the Danish press about how imposing it looks from this POV. That is true. And also about that funny flat roof that has no purpose whatsoever. This is the first time I relly see it.Thank you very much for this.
