Photographer’s Note
This is a cropped version of the original which you can see in the Workshop - and compare.
I still can't decide which version should have been the original post, so it is up to you to judge which is better!
I don't remember the name of the street where I took shis shot. And as in most cases when I was in Copenhagen, I did not have enough time to stand quietly and think which POV is better to choose and whether I should use the flash (no flash in this case, either... which I kind of regret...)
Besides, there were moments when I just turned, saw something (or someone) and took a photo without thinking twice and with those settings in the camera which remained after the previous shot :-/
Anyway, I am saying again that during my short visit I was more interested in "peculiarities" of the city rather than in taking photos of famous landmarks... I wanted to capture a little of the essence of the city life. I don't know if I managed to do as I had planned but at least here is just one more glimpse of "their" life.
NB: I am very sorry for the cropped bottom of the photo :( The man's feet seem to be "gone"! I didn't notice it at that moment...
PP work: Very slight shadows adjustment (the original image was shot in JPEG and is a bit darker); 100% sharpening at 0.3px radius (for the sake of emphasizing the people).
ISO-200;
Exposure Program: Landscape Mode;
Focal Length: 55mm.

Hi Elena,
i can only say that I like more the cropped version since it focuses more on the people in the street and the big tower in the background. I understand that the feet are "gone" because this happens to me also many times when I've to take a photo rapidly. Nevertheless I think that you caught very well the "spirit" of the city life.
Well done,
Edi

Hello Elena
Your one day in Copenhagen has produced same some great images and is certainly teaching us about Copenhagen. Pity you cut off the feet of the very Scandinavian looking man. A tempting glimpse of Copenhagen. Tfs, Marlene

Bonjour Elena
belle image de la vie de tous les jours dans cet partie de Copenhage, j'aime bien voir tous ces gens en action même avec les pieds coupés, ce qui donnent de la vie à ce cliché.
Amitiés

Very good perspective in this photo which shows the typical architecture of Copenhagen. I like the series of buildings and roofs to the right and the long belltower in the bg.
I really would not know which one to prefer- the one in the ws has some valid points too.
Have a nice day,
Donato

Elena this is a fine shot, well seen on our part, the saturated color in the fore ground and the faded bg make for a powerful shot. Great capture.

Hi Elena,
This cropped version is, in my opinion, better than the WS. Here you concentrate more on the subject, i.e. the man with no feet ;-) and the church tower in the background. I like the contrast here between the light, nearly overexposed, background and the darker foreground. The man looks very Danish...
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hello my dear Elena
You arrange and manage the vertical objects consciously. Subjects are a little too complicated, but I understand your intention.
Nice color control, I think this vase is difficult for exposure.
Thanks for sharing and best regards

dear Elena,
I'm interested in two contrasts,
one is between beautiful buildings and standing(walking) people.
the cityscape is made of constructions and inhabitants, and its atmosphere is also made of these two, then I feel very well-ordered sense in this cozy narrow street.
the other is between the back figure of the girl and the walking man.
(these two and back tall tower make also nice contrast)
the young blue girl looks stopping to see the past time in the old clock tower, but adult man looks going toward somewhere leaving the old city and people...
this and WS version have each different tastes, but these contrasts are more obvious in this than WS version.
thank you for your impressing shot,
Akihisa

Hello Elena,
I think I like the cropped version better as it add depth to the characters in your scene. I like the side view of the man, back view of the woman and then front view of the woman in the rear. Everyone seems lined up to the tower in the back. Nice composition.
Sincerely,
Kate

Hello Elena,
There is an interesting gradual change of character of this picture, going from the crowded foreground, slightly dark, to the pureness of the sun-lit tower in the background. The narrow street, bending slightly, gives a good depth to the picture, an effect I have noticed many times before that you are very good at obtaining. Regarding the lost feet: well, that happens to me all the time. It's not possible to see everything at the same time in a constantly changing scenery.
Best regards,
Gert
