Photographer’s Note
As far as I remember (and judging by the names of the streets on the houses), this photo was taken at the intersection of Snaregade and Gammel Strand.
While passing by I happened to see this guy riding a bike. Quite a usual thing in Copenhagen, I know :) But not too usual for me, living in Moscow - the kingdom of cars!
This is a JPEG converted from RAW.

Hi Elena,
Fine interaction between shadows and light here and also fine reflections on the house in the background. But the cyclist makes the picture, he is perfectly captured and the the on his face is very accurate. Maybe a tighter cropping to concentrate the photo on him could have been an alternative. It still looks like a typical Copenhagen scene!
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hello Elena,
I agree with Gunnar, a tighter crop from the left does focus more on the cyclist, removes the unnecessary images and makes the cyclist less central.
That does sound very critical, I'm sorry it does because in every other way, this is a fine photograph. I love the man's expression. (He appears to be assessing the possibility of a parking space!)
The focus is sharp and the interplay of light and dark is excellent!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Good view of this street of a fine sense of depth, and of course I do like the cyclist who seems to get out of the photo!
It's so interesting to see all the details in the street: shops, signs, windows, etc.
And indeed Copenhagen is a city of bikes. I remember when I was there and I rode the whole town with a bike a friend had lent me: a very amusing experience.
Best greetings,
Donato

Bonjour Elena
vous pouvez faire du vélos en plein mois de janvier, ici avec les chemins gelés et les amas de neige ce serait plus périlleux, bonne photo pleine de vie et de mouvement.
Amitiés

Hi Elena,
A nice daily life street scene. Nice play of shadow and light. I am against the tighter crop on the left since that would mean to sacrifice the tricycl carrier. In my youth they were used to deliver bread (in Holland).

Hello my dear Elena
Usual daily one secne, nice shot. The bottom is a little crop, but it does not so muchamtter. F.5.0 makes long focus range.
I like European style building very much.
Thanks for sharing and best regards

dear Elena,
I can feel very fresh light and air, in this shot of running cyclist in the morning.
the image in morning shadow is beautifully blueish, and it makes us feel the light more shining.
and the depth of perspective by this street sandwiched by houses is well composed in this space, then the cyclist looks just now poping-up from there.
left tricycle and right motorbike are quite like a balancing outrigger of this cycle.
thank you for your refreshing moring shot,
Akihisa

Hi, Elena,
"Life on the run, always loaded, like a gun..."
