Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken while strolling along Amaliehaven. It was very cold and windy, by the way!
Amaliehaven is located so conveniently that, when standing at the right place, you can see the Amaliehaven fountain, Amalienborg - winter home of the Danish Queen - and Frederiks Church at the same time.
I hope I managed to capture all these in one shot.. Unfortunately I did not have much time to take many various shots to choose the best later, but I took a few and then chose one for posting here.
-------------------------------------------------
Amaliehaven is one of the newest gardens in Copenhagen. Established in 1983, it was named after its location between the Amalienborg palaces and the harbour.
Frederik's Church (Frederiks Kirke) is popularly known as The Marble Church. The church was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in 1740.
Frederik's Church has the largest church dome in Scandinavia with a span of 31m.

About the shot:
The lower part of the photo is a little darker because of the high contrast and very difficult lighting conditions on that day (I mentioned it before in notes to my earlier posts...), so I adjusted the temperature and levels a little.

Elena,
This is a well composed shot taken from a nice POV. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and DOF. The addition of the people in the foreground is a nice touch and adds a sense of depth and scale. I like the use of sun a shadow to create points of interest throughout the shot.

What a bright light! Copenhagen is shining with light and everything seems so sparkling new. I like this garden with the fountain and ant the end of it the red bus and the beautiful cupola of the church. i think that every thing is fine here but the two women, the bus and the church are the main focal points. Very pleasurable.

Hello my dear Elena
This is a calm and warm photo.
Two ladies are chattering or finding something together.
The backgroud has a very good mood not so complicated.
And in this photo the morning sun beam is very good, I think.
It seems that all are lapped by the warm sun light in winter.
Best regards and good morning, habe a nice day !

dear Elena,
this feeling made by low angled light and some vanishing points reminds me of the paintings of Giorgio de Chirico.
in my feeling, it is absolutely not of the nature, but of this combination of only two human in fore and some different back objects made by human.
two girl and objects, one object and other object look unrelated, these nonsense combinations show us rather unrealistic sensation in the modern human city.
the light makes only coordinates space in this picture, and objects in it may be simple shadows of metaphysical existences.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hello Elena, I think you have done with this one, composition is good with the young people well situated in the frame, I nearly always try to include the human element for life & interest, colours & clarity are excellent even the red bus looks OK. All the points of interest you wanted to capture are there in fine detail.
Lovely scene enhanced by a interesting note. Thank you.
Regards
Santo

Hi Elena,
Now I´m comparing your uploads, the previous one was from middle of summer, grey and wet. This one is from middle of winter, but sunny and nice! Could there be such a difference between these two cities? This is a good composition with three coloured things in a row, the persons, the bus and finally Dannebrogen on top of the building.
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hi Elena,
a beautiful capture of this fascinating place for which you have chosen an excellent POV. I also like the winter light especially on "Marmorkirken". The shadows are creating nice patterns on the pavement. TFS!
Warm regards

Draga tovariš Elena,
the picture is so warm and quite, one cannot say it was cold and vindy. But you know it better. I like the little orange on that image, clear and sharp.
So glad to see you, each time!

Hi Elena,
i like the clean impression of this picture, a cold and clear day. Nice composition, i would have put a little more space behind her shoes but that`s my opinion. Very sharp and fine colors as always.

Hello Elena,
A very cleverly composed picture where the foreground and the background are firmly kept together. I find several diagonal lines going through the roofs and further across the picture, another red/orange line from the ladies' scarves through the bus and the Danish flag. There is also a triangle created by the ladies, the church and the stone in the lower left corner. I could probably find more shapes, but this is enough. As usual, the colours and sharpness are excellent.
Kindest regards,
Gert

Hello Elena,
You have been able to include many nice details in this well balanced composition taken from an optimum POV. The winter light is very beautiful and you have controlled the shadows and lights excellently. A relaxed mood. Thanks for sharing!
Best regards,
Lasse
