Hi Tina,
this is more than captivating! What an amazing photo! Yes, I agree, the eyes are among the most beautiful I've ever seen, but you capture the perfection of the features - the full lips and wonderful nose, the blond hair - simply beautiful. Your subject is at least as beautiful as Heidi or Claudia or any other model - but you captured her so well! You capture her as a real person, pensive and provocative. Simply amazing!
Thanks,
Linda

Hi Tina,
a beautiful shot of a very Danish face. I love the way her face is framed by the semi-transparent headscarf. Wonderful composition - well done!

Hello Tina,
You've created a beautiful portrait of the young woman, indeed with extraordinary eyes. I would like to suggest a technique to improve on perfection. When you cropped the image, you should have put one eye of the vertical center-line (you actually have come close to this). It was discovered in 1998 in by Christopher Tyler. an English born psychologist and art lover living in San Francisco, that in all great portraits — from Leonardo magical portraits of young women (including the Mona Lisa), in all the astonishing portraits by Rembrandt, even frequently by van Gogh and Picasso — that one eye is place on the centerline. This is never taught in art schools, but the unrivaled masters inadvertently, intuitively, naturally focus on an eye. I wrote a book called "Math and the Mona Lisa," (now in 12 languages), and very recently a book for National Geographic "Leonardo's Universe," where this principle is brought out. You did very very well in this portrait, and you had an astounding pair of eyes to work with.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Tina,
You're right, the woman has wonderful eyes, but you must take credit for the way you have captured them. The tight cropping forces focus onto those eyes, but the inclusion of a small section of her blonde hair, and that lovely thin black veil, adds additional interest to the result. The fact that she is looking slightly upwards, and the light reflected in her eyes creates an exceptinally good portrait. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Excellent portrait, Tina! Not only for the look, full of light, but also for the movement of the head, the contrast between the raspberry red lips, the eyes and the very blonde hair. Excellent tight framing, that lets see a good DOF. Congratulations,

Hi Tina,
A nicely tight composition for sure! But a bit too shallow for my liking. I'm surprised to see the f/3.5. Guess you were pretty close! I would have liked to see her left eye (right for the viewer) sharp as well. That feels a bit too soft to me. But a nice and tight compo!
Greetings,
Dennis
