A beautiful and very emotional photo...I love her thoughtful expression and beautifully contrasting green background which makes that the photo is not sad and too serious.

Wonderful women. Nice blue eyes well brightened by the masscare. The black transparent head cover adds beauty to the portion of the face exposed.

Yes...i have to admit, you made the right choice buying that 85m/m. In your hands it has become an excellent tool. You have a great eye seeing this and controling the dof.

I was in the middle of writing about your most recent photo when it disappeared. I guess someone read your note and hit the report button. Such a pity as I found it even more charming than this one although the left eye is sharper here. The quality is excellent and so is the attractive bokeh but her mouth looks softer in the disappeared photo.

Hello Tina,

I was looking through your gallery, especially of the portraits. This young woman with the gorgeous blue eyes immediately attracted my attention. There is a small piece of advice I would like to give you (if you don't take it as meddling). It was discovered in 1998 by an English psychologist practicing in San Francisco that in all great portraits — from Leonardo da Vinci's three portraits of women (including the Mona Lisa), in all of Rembrandt's miraculous portraits, and even in many of van Gogh's and Picasso's works, the vertical centerline passes through an eye. It does not matter whether it is the leading eye or the trailing eye, or whether it is the right or left. It seems great artist intuitively focus on an eye. Here I would put the centerline on your subject's left eye. I discussed this in one of the chapters of my book, "Math and the Mona Lisa." Try this technique. You live in the land of beautiful people, with beautiful eyes.
