Photographer’s Note

Nothing special about this photo - but its shows a common sight from the streets of Denmark. A lot of happy students just graduated from high school are now travelling the streets at the platform of modified trucks, wearing caps as sign of their new dignity.

They are usually making a lot of noise and drink a lot of beer - I believe they was heading for the Inn named “the flying geese”.

Hi Jeppe,
A well composed daily life shot. I like the POV here and the varying expressions on people's faces - perhaps curiosity more than anything, judging by the pose and stance of the onlookers. I thought at first with the flags that this was raising support for the national football team, and its amusing how the students celebrate their new status. Good DOF here, with a fine view of the buildings in the distance. Well captured.

Hi Jeppe, It is the time of the year that many happy graduates celebrate their graduation everywhere. Good shot to identify their status and the attentions people paid to them. The flying duck sign is well captured to show the place.

Hi Jeppe,
Lovely picture of daily Danish life. Last week we (Lars and I) were in Karskrona visiting the last school day before holiday there. So this is a nice addition to Scandinavian customs. Unfortunately we have to wait 4 weeks before our summer holiday starts.

Jeg læste et sted at det var sidste skoledag i DK. Et sjovt billede med de studerende på vognen, jeg har også set det en gang i Malmø.
De to gæs i øverste på højre side er også flotte.

Nice to see young people having fun after their graduation, they deserve it, good daily life shot with a lot of action, good colours and sharpness, your POV is very good allowing to see the rest of the environment.

Always nice to see your photos which are depicting and chronicling the local events and traditions, Jeppe. Good candid shot showing the celebrating folks on the truck as well as the reaction by the pedestrians. Good inclusion of the "geese" sign to support the storytelling in your note.
