Attack of the monster bubble Photo

Photographer’s Note

– Every second year in May is Svendborg (Population 30.000 at the southern of Fyn) invaded by Clowns (over 50) – Last (second) year did I miss this event but this time was I ready. For me was it also a chance to "shot" some people - as many photographers went around shooting at every thing moving (almost like at a TE-meeting ;-)

This Clown turned out to be British, from Lingester (or something like) and came with husband and kids, all dressed in funny ways.
The kids loved her giant soap bobbles – as it can be seen on those shots (in fact did I take over 100 photos in a few minutes in order to get what I wanted)

1) taken shortly after the monster was borne.
2) Taken 1 second later, now more like a Teddy bear.
3) Finally divided the bobble in two and one of them blowed up.

Hi Jeppe,
This bubbble is great, but more tha that, I like the face of the man behind the monster's "neck", and the way his face are ditorted by the soap. Great timing ;-)

The buble looks like a metamorphed clowns itselfe,Jeppe! :)
Oh,What an expression of the girl who is freezed with a cute smile in front of the giant soap bubbles !
a superb colors,look at the children !
all rae enjoying from this giant one,a soft one,but can disappears fastly.like most of suddenly accident in our life,

the way the shimmery bubble turns everything into an altered reality is great. the little girls, in green, has a fantastic expression, and the small girl in the back sems to be encased within the bubble.
beautiful.

I tried a workshop I hope you don't mind it.

Hi Jeppe - great shot inc. the transformation in WS. This bubble should be in Guinness! It has also nice colors and shapes, not a regular big bubble. And I like the expressions of the kids on the right. Congratulations, Daniel

A very interesting ensemble of photos, Jeppe, I don't think I ever saw soap bubbles of this size before. I like how this one shows the delightful response of the young audience, and with the three photos the story is told in a good way - I'm quite impressed with your timing on the photo where one of the two bubbles is just in the middle of bursting. Well done.

I love the girl in the lower right corner. She seems to be crouching a bit under the bubble. The expression on her face tells of excitement and anxiety of the bubble popping!

Superb capture, Jeppe!!! Strange you haven't classified this as a decisive moment. That's photography as it is: being in the right place at the right time. Look at the girl in the right, and the "monster", how they stare at each other... ;) I can't take such photographs, so I admire people that can...

Hi Jeppe,
A really funny one, with a lovely sequence of the three images for our pleasure. I have loved all of them and may be even more the last one, along with the delicious title. The atmosphere is great and the expression of the girl is so nice, but in the last one it's not only her, but all the people in the back that makes such a good capture.
