Ouch - bird flue Photo

Photographer’s Note

Sorry - I know its a serious matter which moved quite close to Fyn by the finding of 9 dead ducks on the island Ærø not far from here.

The photos not manipulated - but its an illusion since theres over 50 meters between the wooden eagle and the real bird.

Both birds (and an extra eagle) can be seen here.

So that's hw the bird flu is transmitted ...through a wooden kiss...
Has always the humour comes trhough magnificently and the photos are pretty good too. the blue makes a great background for this most serious and very scientific photo. Thank you this is very cool.

Good illustration of the dangerous situation. The wooden bird can easily symbolise the deadly bird flu disease. Than it’s good to here the bird was 50 m. away from the wooden beak.

I've seen this one before, right? But never mind because it is a great comment on bird flu. I know it's probably inapropriate to make fun of it, but if people could see the sings put up by Danish officials on the places where bird flu has been found they would laugh ;o)

News:They also found the flu amongst the poultry in one Slovenian household.
I just wish that the flu is gone as soon as possible. I wouldn't like to live with the threat for the rest of my life (until I finally catch it).
