Congratulation 231045-0637 Photo

Photographer’s Note

A bit strange title - but this one to celebrate our world famous (at least in Denmark ;-) musician, composer, singer and artist - Kim Larsen.

For some years ago did he release an album with his civil registration number "231045-0637" as title so congratulation with the 60th birthday.

This photo taken at an open air concert where less then 50% actually paid to listen - please whatch this photo for explanation.

The photo shows Kim Larsen with his group "Kjukken". His first group called "Gasolin" also spend an year in the US but didn't make it over there.

Morning Jeppe,
The audience looks very "mixed" from teenagers to pensioners....
Excellent concert shot,good compo and framing and a nice pose of the artists.

Hi Jeppe. A good "oldie", I guess, both in times of the subject portrayed as well as the photo itself :) The concert ambience is well shown and the exposure is good to render the colorful and graphical details of the stage.
Edit: the WS (cominig in while I wrote this) is a good add. Quite unusual to be able to watch the concert from a boat.

This famous Kim Larsen is born only 4 days after my mother... and I will go today to celebrate my mother's 60th birdthay...
A picture of artists on an stage is very difficult and here, you succeed to have a good one! Bravo!

Good catch here Jeppe,

I like the view with all heads of the people on th bottom of the frame. Good capture of expression and of the moment. You places yourself well for this photo.

Nice capture of this event. Music concerts are not the easiest theme for a good photo with the musicians moving all around. You didi a good job.

Nowadays we are rather familiar with Danish pop-bands. Both Lars and Kjeld are fans of several Danish groups. (see the comment of Lars) I like your reportage of Kim Larsen. We also have some nice memories of Svendborg and the festival on Langeland.

Maybe my next trip to Europe should be Denmark as I would definately love to watch a concert from a boat. Nice capture of a difficult situation with such clarity and action. Jeg elsker Kim Larsen, faktisk skal jjegg til koncert d. 3 dec i Musikhuset i Århus, det er en gammel aftale jeg har med en veninde. For et par år siden kom jeg gående i Århus med den veninde og så så vi en af Ekstra Bladets spisesedler, der stod "Fik du set det du ville?" og så var der et billede af Larsen, vi var sikre på at han måtte være død, og gik begge i panik over at vi ikke havde set ham live. Da vi fandt ud af at vi havde misforstået det blev vi enige om snarest muligt at se ham live - det er som sagt et par år siden, men nu er chancen der.
