[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've noticed a lack of kid pictures from Denmark, but I'm going to be bold and post this anyway.

Here is a little girl discovering that the world is bigger than she thought it was, only a moment ago.

On a cultural note, children in Denmark have seasonal uniforms, so to speak. In the winter all children from 0 up to 8 or 9 years old, wear snow suits. In spring, autumn, and often summer too, children are set out to play in plastic pants and coats due to the fact it is so wet here. (The bright pink pants here are an example of plastic wear). Danes value children playing outside in all weather, and therefore buy clothing appropriate for the purpose.

This is a charming shot. The touch of pink among the fresh shades of green is very effective. Ypir note on childrens clothing is interesting too!

kate, I find myself grappling with another simple image - I think of the protection we provide the children as they grow up and conversely the child's need to explore and to grow - and how these two things can clash was they get older... well done
