in the upper level of the castle there is a contemporary art museum where i took this photo

one of the interesting and attractive things to see in the castle is the beautiful chapel

Great shot of interiors. Very antique type of furnishing, very fine craftwork on the wall and ceiling. Very good exposure although the window part seems a little bright OE. Nice work. TFS

A good capture of this magnificent room. Excellent point of view ; the depth is heightened by the desk and chairs in the foreground and the man at the far end of the room. Some very nice geometric patterns in the beautiful tiled floor. The light is well managed and the colours excellent. Very good clarity.

Very modest indeed, though I didnt mind the frniture at all. However I loved the colors, and amazed the way you were able to capture so many finer details.

Cette galerie et salle laisse rêveur. C'était une belle salle de bal à l'occasion. La décoration et le plafond sont confondants. Des gens ont vécu dans ce luxe inouï. Très belles et impressionnantes images. Barvo.

Great interior shot! These types of places are often really dark inside, so to get this amount of detail is ver impressive. It's important too, because the ornate decoration is what this is all about. Nicely done!

Hi Jonathan.
I have never visited this castle so I can clearly see that I have missed something. Maybe I will pay it a visit next summer! As always in your photos the handling of light is outstanding. Sharpness i also on top. I'm a little concerned about the colour, to me it seems a little blueish. I decreased the blue channel a bit (from 1.00 to 0.85) and found it 'better' but then I realized that my daily WS limit already was used.

Looks like a great place to celebrate the New Year!
This is a nice shot of the interior of the castle. Your WS shots are fine and add a lot of detail to the main photo. The lighting and colors are fine and you POV is excellent.

pour un millardaire je la trouve un peu petite ta salle a manger, je m'attendais a mieux, mais j'en ferai bien ma maison secondaire, belle profondeur de cette image qui permet d'apprécier le décor, un peu tape a l'oeil...; non je déconne

Tu sais qu'ils ont une bonne émission sur M6, si tu veux refaire la déco de ton salon, je verais bien une belle peinture imitation béton sur les moulure du plafond et un peu de orange, histoire de réveiller tout ça!!

Hi Jonathan.

Excellent shot. Superb detail and the colours are sumptuous. The large windows have allowed very even lighting along the length of the gallery.

It is impressive all the more as the National Trust in the UK will not allow such photography in their properties.

Joli living room, peut être un peu chargé au niveau du plafond mais le sol de marbre doit être parfait pour les glissades.

Je ne regrette pas d'avoir cliqué sur cette photo, le titre est drôle et je n'en voudrais pas, comme salon, personnellement je trouve ça complètement kitch, ça croule sous l'or et le plafond est vraiment trop chargé.

Mais bien sûr, très belle photo qui a bien sa place ici ! D'ailleurs, j'irais bien voir de mes yeux un tel décor, ça vaut le déplacement !

Wow, so busy and ornate, it's almost in danger of being kitschy, even though it looks pretty, they should have toned down on the trimmings a little. Yet the lack of furniture somehow balances the busy walls and ceiling.
