Photographer’s Note

Here is a photo of a very common scene for those who go walking in the countryside around here - vista including a farm framed by a solitary rowan tree. These trees are planted on many roads around here providing color and beauty. They start out with beautiful white flowers, then the leaves seem to turn silver, then in the fall they become covered with bright red berries that stay on them long into the winter.

Hello Kate,
I can't say that the composition if perfect (I can't understand it, really ... but it looks rather difficult for me), but in this case it is OK, I guess... because if you step backwards to take a horizontal, "landscape" shot including more of the rowan tree, the background landscape will not be seen as well it is seen now, and that BG is very beautiful and looks like a painting! I especially like the warm colours and the mood ...
so let it be :)

Hi Kate,
this is a wonderful impression of this characteristic countryside! It is especially the view into the depth of the fields that creates a very special and typical atmosphere. It is really the essence of rural Denmark. TFS!
