Photographer’s Note
After finally enjoying a little more than a week of snow the weather suddenly warmed and melted it all away. We were left with a lot of dripping and standing water. Here is a traditional house with a common bicycle.
Technically, I've cropped this to capture the window and the bike. I've turned it to B&W because I think it enhances the dripping from the roof. I've also tried to minimize the sun which was barely hidden behind the roof.

Hello Kate,
I thought for a while over this photo and I think you made the right choice by converting the image to b&w. It's an original image, and I think you succeeded in convening the idea in this shot :)
It's a pity that part of the bike is cropped... I would add just a little more space on the right... to see how it would look.
This b&w version, all sunny, with water drops, makes me remember the older times when I was a child and had a very simple film camera, and I took b&w photos... developed the films myself and then printed the photos :)
Kind regards,
Elena
