Photographer’s Note

Another not very classic view of the Frederiksborg castle in Denmark, this time I have chosen a symmetrical framing with the reflection in the lake and took advantage of the low but soft evening light, sorry couldn't think of a less "classic" title...;)

Privet Alexander,
The best thing about shooting in these northern countries are those superb red bricks that contrast so nicely against the blue sky... provided of course you get such nice blue sky conditions to shoot ! Nice pov.

Nice composition and POV showing the building and it's reflection. The reflection creates nice balance and symmetry in the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

An excellent capture of this magnificent brickwork. I like the point of view and the different angles created by the walls. The reflection is very much an added bonus. Very good colours and clarity throughout.

Hi, Alexander. There is a very good colour contrast in your shot. A good unity of tones in the building thanks to the red bricks and roof. The dark blue water offers a perfect mirror for the castle. There are a lot of lines in your image and I appreciate the presence of the tree and the spire that not only bring contrast but also some rounded shapes.

Nice shot! I like the perfect reflection in the water, which doubles the building and always makes things more interesting. Great lighting on the building too, making a good colour contrast with the blue of the sky and the wate. Well done!

love the clarity of this shot, reminds me of the cool and fresh summer mornings in Scandinavia and also Baltics :) as others have already said, the red bricks nicely contrast with the pure blue of the sky, and I find that the reflection certainly emphasises the harmonious symmetry of the composition. sure, unusual point of view, but all the more interesting, excellent shot.
