Photographer’s Note
to next photo
a contribution to the photos of Frederiksborg Slot...
before uploading i watched photos of other members to not post a photo with exactly the same POV and framing (because i have photos which look very similar than this one or this one)
i could have post the one in WS which is more original but i truly prefer this one
for infos about the castle, read the complete note of Lars
it could be called the Danish Versailles ;)
***
PP: perspective correction, shadows lightned (20%), contrast, croped a part of sky to get more details of the people in the bottom, resize, sharpened a little bit

Hello Jo,
A picture full of vitality with these people gathered around the fountain. The place with its turrets makes a very good backdrop fro the statue on the top of the fountain. Very good colours and clarity in a nicely lit picture.

Hello Jonathan,
Like you, I also prefer this image over the one in the ws. The building is shown with its most salient features. It would have been nicer with more light in the foreground, but sometime you just have to take advantage of what you are offered. Few of us have the time to spend several hours on site to get the light just right. The note, succinct but informative, makes this a useful TE package. Finally, living in Fredericksburg, Virginia, I am fascinated by images of the grand Fredericksborg (Slot).
Warm regards,
Bulent

Bonjour Jonathan,
j'aime ce genre de cliché avec une fontaine près d'un château avec les touristes autour, ce qui donne de la vie.

Hi Jonathan,
Very nice architecture presented nicely under a harsh light. The compo of figures and statues add life, while watr adds further dynamism. I wish the bottom were illuminated as well. Cheers,
Deniz

Aha! I guess I recognize the place!:))) Good POV to show the majesty of the place, nice composition with the main tower on the left as a focal point and the statue to balance it. I only wish the tourists were not there...
Cheers

Salut Jonathan,
