Photographer’s Note
Prague is a city of towers. Ancient towers. During the second World War, Czechoslovakia was the first country to fall to Hitler, thus it was spared much of the bombing and destruction that other European cities suffered. During the communist era, due to neglect, the city again escaped the devastating "modernization" that destroyed a lot of old European architecture. Today Prague is a "living museum" of medieval streets and buildings. This view was taken from the top of one those Gothic towers early in the morning. What a view!

This is a repost that looks more like the original slide. I started with the original scan, did auto levels and equalize, then adjusted the colours to try to match the slide.

Oops! I originally wrote this was taken in 1986. It should say 1996. This slide isn't that old and definitely taken post communism.
