Photographer’s Note

In the note concerning Place of the Old City (Staromestke namesti), I had spoken to you about church baroque. This monumental building of the 18 E century, proportioned well dominates the place. It had been created to protest against the values of Catholicism. The Protestant worship there is always celebrated. Vast cupola decorated with frescos and many baroque statues, imposing Bohemian crystal gloss of Byzantine style, pointing out the orthodox past of the building, the church of rite hussite, contains a columbarium like the majority of the hussite churches.
One of its characteristics is to propose the host and the wine with the communion and to accept the women priests.

I like this photo of Prag Pierre. It is really amazing how beautiful is this city. Big church and other building are great architectural objects. Composition is well taken and composed too. It`s very colourful, clean and with a good angle.

Beaucoup de vie et d'agitation sur cette place on sent bien l'effet touristique de la ville.

Even if I am not commenting on every single photo, I am following and enjoying your guided tour through Prague a lot, Pierre ;-) It makes me remember a trip I made 19 years ago when still at school, and reminds me I should go to Prague myself soon ... This is a nicely framed shot with the St Nicolas Church taking center stage, but also successfully shown within its urban context by including the piece of wall at the left, and the building to the right. Beautiful colors and good clarity, and as always a fine accompanying note. Well done.

This shot was not easy to take I guess because of the white facade and the sun light that could overexposed this composition. Finally, the result is ecxellent.
I'd crop the left part where there is a facade.
