Photographer’s Note
This is detail from the clock tower in Olomoucs. The astronomical clock in Olomoucs is the second-largestin the Czech Republic; only the clock in Prague is larger. It features an hourly display of figures similar to those on the Prague clock tower; however, under Communist rule the figurines of saints were replaced with workers. I've uploaded a shot of that part of the clock as a workshop.

Nice shot Mimi!
Nice crisp & clear details. Bright colors, and a unique cropping- make this photo work.
Well done!

Nice detail, they've cleaned it up since I saw it, in 1994. Interesint WS. Nice idea to add the workers. Adopting attifacts into a culture is a much better replacement, and has a long tradition. I wonder if that (the only in 1994) superb restuarant in a back street behind the catherderal is still there.
