Continuing the visit in direction of the Prague Castle by Karlova, artery which leads us directly to the Charles Bridge, we here arrived on the Place of the Old Town, places historical from PRAGUE which was created to the 12 E century.
On left of the pic, the City Hall with its astronomical clock. In 1338 this Gothic building was made up seat of the autonomy of the Old City. The oldest part, with a tower, a vault with a corbelling and a rich person decoration of weapons, dates from the 2 E half of the 14 E century. With the astronomical clock (at the beginning of 15 E century) the 12 apostles appear at the whole hours between 9 and 21 h. In the lower part, a calendar plate.
At the bottom, the church Our-Lady-of-Tyn which is the crowned Gothic construction most imposing of PRAGUE. Built during the 2 E half of the 14 E century until the beginning of the 16 E, its interior was transformed into style baroque at the end of the 17 E century.
The place is dominated of the Saint Nicolas's church baroque not visible over this image.
