Photographer’s Note
Petrin Tower, an imitation of the Eiffel Tower built in 1891, sits at the top of Petrin Hill and provides one of the best views of the city. You can either walk or take the elevator to the top.

Good shot, Mimi. I like how this 'colour' photo is practically all B/W except for the people climbing the stairs. The random jumble of metal makes interesting patterns. Well framed.

Hi Mimi! It's a good idea for an abstract but the composition is uncomfortable. For things like this I feel it important to follow the rule of thirds with some part of the chaos. For example the thick stairwell area, zoom out and compose it a third of the way in (a la the rule of thirds), this would be best as a long panoramic type frame. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Alex opened my mind about what was going wrong and i suspected you put the face of the girl at a third purposely... however this focusing point is not strong enough, rules of thirds also implies a strong point ;-)... if not every photo would comply to the ro3rds.
Alex's idea is good : try putting a metal nod at a third of the pic by cropping your shot into pano format and see it gets much stronger.

I like the idea you have here though I think perhaps a closer view would be better.
