[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a close up a fisherman in a rowing boat on the Vltava river in Prague taken from the Charles Bridge. The wooden construction you see to the right of the boat is just in front of the bridge on the southern side of it there are a number of such constructions and a suppose that they are intended protect the bridge by breaking ice in winter. This kind of flat-bottomed rowing boats were common in Prague 20 years ago. You could see several of the moored along the Certovka (the Devil's Stream) at the western end of the Charles bridge

Very good zoomed in shot of the fisherman. You have captured him waiting patiently for a fish to bite in excellent clarity and sharpness. The POV, which places the boat on a diagonal works very well. Good work

Hi Ulf,
Lovely and peaceful atmosphere for this photo of the fisherman on the river. I like very much the blue of the water as well as the tiny waves of the river. The light is fine too, well done!

Hi Ulf,

For a moment I thought that the fisher had catch a huge tree-trunk :- )
But I think he is hoping for some fish hiding near the trunk.
