Photographer’s Note

This is my second picture of Český Krumlov on TE.
It shows a part of the main sqare in the centre of town.

Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the southwest of the Czech Republic, is a very interesting and charming small town of historical heritage and surrounded by unspoiled countryside.
It has lots of beautiful houses in narrow cobblestone streets and is dominated by a castle stretching over the meandering Vltava River.

As no other town Český Krumlov has preserved its medieval center.
For this reason it entered the UNESCO register of monuments of world significance in 1992.

Charo, kpav, Cretense, degani, paura, Uhu, amfdj, josepmarin has marked this note useful
