Jiriho Cerveneho street, a photo from Prague, Bohemia

Photographer's Note

This is a very small street called Jiřího Červeného in Kampa Island in Prague. It is very close to the Charles Bridge and it ends in Na Kampě, the main square in Kampa Island. It is difficult to find it even in detailed maps of Prague. In my view it looks very nice both in early morning light (this post) and in the (my next post) night and I am surprised that there seems to be very few pictures of it.

Kampa Island, a little island on the Vltava River very close to the Charles Bridge and separated from the Western bank of the river by a narrow stream called Čertovka (the Devil's Steam).

Great light plays in narrow alley and on the huge facade is very attractive with great perspective of alley. Cobblestones on ground, lights very well captured. A great works, congratulations.

A fine play of light, where the shadows adds to the composition!
The angle of light also makes the texture in the walls really stand out, and I notice the many fine details in this narrow street...
Good colour palette, a fine diagonal and a great sense of depth!
