Tisá and its surrounding is a rocky area at the border with Germany. This region is composed of a beautiful rocky unit of Tiské walls and the surrounding of the mesa Děčínský Sněžník.
Tiské walls belong among the oldest touristic areas of Labské sandstones. You can find there the rocky towns full of many rocky columnes, eaves´, caves and other very interesting shapes. Tiské walls are divided into two parts – the big and the small walls and they both are connected with an educational trail.
Děčínský Sněžník is the highest mesa in the Czech republic. From the view tower of the same name you can have an amazing view of the whole area of Labské sandstones and when it´s fair weather you can ses as far as Ještěd.
Tisá´ region is a paradise for rock climbers. The whole area offers lots of the climbing trails starting with the easy ones ending with the most difficult ones. Another perfect attraction is a huge amount of modest touristic and cycling trails. In winter Tisá region is a great place for the cross country skiing´ or the dog-team riding´ lovers. |
