A view of the christmas market with the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn in the background. The tower on the right is known as 'Adam' and the tower on the left is known as 'Eve'. Eve is thinner than Adam. Legend says that a queen had this built because she felt guilty for murdering her baby daughter after giving birth to twins, a boy and girl, however she only wanted boys!

Beautiful night capture, with the sky yet with a bit of light and at the blue hour, which always gives a great aesthetic result.
The towers are outlined finely on this sky, with very good lighting, beautiful colors and many quality of image.

Hi Wilson. I like the inclusion of the stall in front of the Church. Very pretty. The church towers look pretty illuminated like that. Nice Composition.

C'est très bien composé et très beau avec de belles couleurs de fêtes. Une ambiance parfaitement rendue.

A fairy tale for a fairy castle.
The inclusion of the market gives contrast between two periods in time.
Still have a good light left in the sky.
However,a slight tilt.
I like your composition.

Quite a huge emblem of Prague, these towers. You have photographed them nicely: I like how you included the Christmas market.
Hope you had a merry Christmas; here's to a great New Year ahead!

Hi Wilson, interesting fg for this towers. It really fits the season. Back to the time that I was there I saw inumerous musicians playing real chamber concerts - most of it was "Four Seasons" from Vivaldi. Glad to see your version. The christmas market with everyone looking for the last opportunity and the towers in the bg reminding faith.

bet you had a great time there, wonderful city being slightly ruined by the stag parties from the uk ;) Nice to have a human interest in it as well and also an interesting note. Didn't know that. Nice one.

Lovely contrast between the modern market place in front of the timeless old castle shown in fine detail. Very good long exposure shot.

Very good night view, with a contrast between the shop in the foreground and the well lit church in the background. The towers of the church are beautifull, with their complex shapes and small mini-towers. I just regret the lady on the left.
All the best,

2 kind of light, 2 architecture, two colors... A dual picture !
You managed well with the exposure to produce details in these 2 worlds.

Thanks for illuminating the legend of this towering building. This is a dramatic and bold composition that benefits from perfect exposure and contrast. The engaging red of the market roof adds a splash of vitality to an otherwise moody, atmospheric shot. Really nice. TFS.

Hi Wilson, it's allways a pleasure to remember this amazing place and look again at that incredible architecture. You got an interesting original composition here, with the red stripe. I also loved the story of the legend about the towers and the scene of the market in foreground gives a nice warm human touch. Very well done!

An excellent Prague picture. I love the way you make use of the red colours and illuminated church. The activities in the stands and the inclusion of people makes the scene very vivid. Few people would get the idea to take vertical picture to include all these thing. Excellent photo-job. TFS and have a nice evening!

A look from market-ground upwards to the twin's turrets of famouse place in Prague, Wilson.
Night scene well collected, as light and color were superb.
Enjoy your weekend,
