Photographer’s Note
For me, Prague so far is its airport only. I spent here five hours and all what I could do was taking pictures of iron birds. The sunset hour came right prior to our departure time, so I took a dozen of shots of the plane you see and chose the sharpest one. It was a long day indeed...

Hello Aleksei.
I can imagine your long day, I hate waiting at airports, especially when there aren't any good views.
At first glance I would say that the photo is a bit dark, but after giving it a bit more thinking I really like it. The direct red sun makes everything else dark and thereby letting the ground lights and the navigational lights of the airliner shine properly.
Composition looks good, although I would have considered to add more tarmac to the photo. As it is now ones view is somewhat stolen to the chimneys in the background.
But still it is just beautiful.
For extra info, although I know what you mean, this is not an iron bird it is a Boeing 737-800/900 made from 2024/5056/7075 type aluminium, engines are CFM56-7 high bypass turbofan engines with approx. 23-24000 pounds of thrust.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Aleksei
Wonderful shot with great atmosphere. I like how you captured the sun disc above the planes!

Hi Aleksei,
Well framed shot with a plane on sunset. I like the simple form of the plane emphasized by the head-on POV and backlight. Sun reflection on the sky probably created be terminal window would be easy to remove in PP.
