I took this shot during my cross-country skiing trip. In height above 1000m was a heavy fog and hard rime. This long snow fence ended in the white dark.

Altitude: 1200m
Temperature: minus 3 degree Celsius
Location: Krkonose mountain range

Excellent. This goes into the infinty. A great white composition. There is a very pleasant green tone all over the pic, and I like it, but I wonder where is it coming from.

Nice pciture Jiri, the best on the page I just saw.. There is something very strange here.. the mood of the shot..The white, the composition.. It works well...

Good use of the negative space, the combination of the dark fence that fades in the background due to the fog and its structure against the light background works very well.
I like this one a lot, thanks for sharing Jiri! Good job!

Great shot. Very fine effect with the fence making a good perspective. Well done Jiri

Great effect, Jiri. Stunning how within such a short distance, the fence changes from sharp and detailed in the foreground to disappering into the haze in the background. The light accentuating the details in the foreground is also very special. Excellent work.

I like the contrast between the fence and all that white!
Great shot!

really nice image, fence is well framed making the line from right /not touching right edge/ and disappearing somewhere in the back

dobra prace

J'aime beaucoup l'angle qu'a cette photo, on suit facilement la clôture pour nous faire entrer dans ce petit coin perdu dans la nature et le brouillard. Bravo.
I like very much the angle which has this photo, we follow easily the fence to admit us to this small part lost in the nature and the fog. Bravo.

Excellent shot. As well as the fence I like those footrints fading into the distance.

Very special mood here, I like that there are foot prints going in the same direction as the fence up to the white blank space. This light at the end of the fence is really attracting, like the tunnel of light when you die ?

A fine graphical work Jiri. The fence really ends in a bright haze. Very fine job on the tones of the snow.

Excellent shot. The fence makes a diagonal line which brings us to an endless background. Well seen indeed Jiri.

I like the way the fence recedes into the "white dark" (clever description. I think I would have liked to see a bit more space at the top of the frame (the fence seems to dominate a bit too much, but I like the effect!

Walk towards the stranger because, at the end of this fence it is the mystery, I like the angle of the photo which gives this composition. Good shot!
Marcher vers l'inconnu car, au bout de cette clôture c'est le mystère, j'aime bien l'angle de la photo qui donne cette composition. Bien fait.

Nice (but unpleasant) winter scene. The fence makes a good composition. I like how it begins from the all right side and it gets lost in the snowstorm. Very well seen.

Wow Jiri i see this for the first time. What a great shot. The picture is very cold indeed. Good light and great angle. Well done.

My grandmother's country! Nice arty looking picture! I really like the tracks in the snow too!

that was a really hard ambiance ( temperature ) and i imagine how hard is to take photos ... congrats ...

Superb in its simplicity. Lovely light and haze. I did some similar shots in the Polish part of Karkonos Mts. on the Polsih-Czech border, but your pic does have better quality. Wishes, Tomek
