Bird Flu, Deadly H5N1, The virus is spread by migrating wild birds and has recently been found in birds in Russia, Turkey and Romania. While H5N1 is easily transmitted between birds, it is hard for humans to contract. But experts fear it could mutate into a form of flu that is easily transmitted between humans and cause a pandemic that could kill millions.

Stunning fight photo! There's good motion blur on those reflections. Is the colour from autumn leafs?
In some recent program I heard that every fourth duck gets some kind of flu. That means they are healthier than us humans, (sneezing).

great sharpness of the bird. It's not easy to get this result with such a fast moving subject... Good note to go with it, and a subject that is very much under debate lately.

Great shot Miroslav. It looks like your panning technique is pretty good. The blur and color of the background contrast nicely with the color and sharpness of the mallard.

Well done. You managed to keep the Duck in movement very sharp. The colour of the water is unusual, this is what attracted my eye while browsing the thumbnails.

Ahoj Miroslav, what a wonderfull picture you took.. the stilness in the movement.. Very beautifull with the colours and light..
Did also put a picture on TE with the same subject but I think your picture is far better than mine. :o)
On topic: I think it is sad that these kind os deseases spread, maybe we are more guilty than we think? Who knows..

Although there is a risk of bird flu, you want to feed this bird in your area after seeing this photogragh. Incredible colors.
