Photographer’s Note

To the north of Mikulov, the ridges of the Palava Hills loom up, formed by pure white jurassic limestone. On the top of the Devin peek
(550 m above sea level) ruins of Divci hrady (Maiden's castle) are located.

I took this photo from Pavlov wine-growing village by the Novomlynske lakes, the largest Moravian water reservoir. It is situated in the vicinity of Klentnice village.

In the forground You can see, very characteristic for the region, roadside shrine.
